Longtime Huntington Beach Union High School District Trustee and current Board of Trustees Vice-President Dr. Michael Simons has endorsed my candidacy for the OVSD Board of Trustees. Dr. Simons a local doctor of podiatry and longtime public servant has served on the California Department of Consumer Affairs; Community Services Commission, City of Huntington Beach and the Infrastructure Advisory Committee, City of Huntington Beach. He knows that strong leadership is needed to pilot the OVSD and so that its educators can prepare students to be career and college ready. Thank you to Dr. Simons for his endorsement and support.
