OVSD Amicus Curiae Brief in Response to COVID19

Santa Ana, CA-Today OVSD filed an Amicus Curiae brief in support of the City of Costa Mesa in their ongoing dispute with the Federal and State governments over housing Coronavirus patients at dilapidated Fairview Developmental Center. We were proud to assist Costa Mesa and Mayor Katrina Foley in their protection of Orange County’s residents. We prevailed in that Judge Staton of the Federal Court disallowed the premature placement of infected Individuals to Fairview and right in the middle of the 2nd most densely populated county in CA without first having an actual plan that has been worked on with local authorities. New hearing set for Monday, March 2, 2020.
